Terms of Service

ArtistGuard (artistguard.app) is a monitoring and change alert service for music industry professionals. It lets you track artist profiles and receive notifications when relevant information changes.

By creating an account or using the service in any way, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use ArtistGuard. Your continued use after any update to these Terms counts as acceptance of the updated version.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted. For material changes, especially ones affecting paid plans or pricing, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you in advance via email or an in-app notice.

If you disagree with an update, stop using the service and cancel your plan before the next renewal date.

You are granted access to ArtistGuard strictly for lawful use and in accordance with these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your credentials secure. You agree not to:

• Monitor artists you have no legitimate reason or authorization to track
• Share, sell, or expose your API keys or account credentials to others
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, rate limit, or access control
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the ArtistGuard platform or infrastructure
• Impersonate any person, entity, or representative of ArtistGuard
• Use automated scripts, bots, or similar tools to interact with the service without prior written permission
• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms, poses security or legal risks, or harms the service or its users, with or without prior notice depending on the situation.

ArtistGuard offers subscription plans billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Your payment method will be charged the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.

All payments are final. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, or change of mind. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your access until the balance is settled. Prices are shown in EUR and may be subject to applicable local taxes. We reserve the right to update pricing; material changes will be communicated in advance.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a valid charge is considered a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend access until the dispute is resolved.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. After deletion, your personal data will be removed from active systems within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including liability limitations, indemnity, and ownership provisions, remain in effect.

ArtistGuard and all materials on it, excluding your own content, are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.

You retain ownership of your account data. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to deliver the functionality you signed up for.

ArtistGuard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every change will be detected. Some things are outside our control. You use the service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ArtistGuard and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100).

You agree to defend and hold harmless ArtistGuard and its operators from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
