ArtistGuard: The Tool Built for Spotify Artist Profile Monitoring
ArtistGuard monitors Spotify artist profiles in real time. Track availability, metadata, monthly listeners, bio changes, and more. Here is how it works.
What ArtistGuard does
ArtistGuard is a monitoring service built specifically for Spotify artist profiles. It checks your artists on a continuous schedule and sends you an alert the moment something changes. A track going offline, an ISRC shift, a label credit update, or a bio edit all trigger an immediate notification.
You add an artist once. ArtistGuard handles the rest in the background.
What it monitors
Track availability. Is every track in the artist's catalog currently playable on Spotify? ArtistGuard detects when a track goes offline and when it comes back, with the exact timestamp for both events.
Monthly listener changes. Significant drops or spikes in monthly listeners can signal a platform issue, a catalog problem, or an algorithm shift worth knowing about.
Metadata changes. ISRC codes, label credits, artist credits, and release dates. If any of these shift on a track, you get an alert the same day.
New releases. Unexpected releases, re-uploads, regional editions, compilations that use your catalog all appear in your alert feed.
Artist bio and images. Changes to the artist bio or profile images. Useful for catching unauthorized edits and maintaining brand consistency.
Verified status. If the artist loses their verified checkmark, ArtistGuard flags it immediately.
Top tracks and top cities. Shifts in which tracks are performing and where the audience is concentrated.
How alerts work
When ArtistGuard detects a change, it dispatches an alert to your configured channels. Currently supported: email, Discord, and webhooks.
The alert includes the exact change, what the value was before, what it is now, and when it was detected. For track availability changes, it tells you which tracks are affected. For metadata changes, it shows the old and new values side by side.
No Spotify login required
ArtistGuard does not ask for access to your Spotify for Artists account. You do not connect any credentials. You verify your artist profile once using a short code placed temporarily in your bio, and monitoring starts from there.
This means you can also monitor artists you manage without needing their account access.
Who uses ArtistGuard
Independent artists who want to know immediately if something changes on their profile, without checking Spotify manually every day.
Artist managers who handle multiple clients and cannot afford to miss a track going offline or a metadata change affecting royalties.
Labels and publishing companies who monitor large catalogs and need a reliable alert system when something changes.
Music lawyers and rights administrators who need documentation of when changes occurred and what they contained.
Plans
The free plan covers one artist with checks every two hours. Paid plans increase the number of artists monitored, the check frequency down to five minutes, and add features like webhooks, multi-user organizations, and API access.
You can start with the free plan in under two minutes. No credit card required.
